Assignment 1- Part 2 : Inspiration Images IMAGE 1 “42nd street and eighth avenue”- Lars Tunbjork I chose this picture because it was one of the first to caught my eye when reading a book about photography a few years ago (by Henry Garrol). I love this photograph because of the colors and the structure. I also like the fact that the beauty comes from everything working together. The picture was taken by Lars Tunbjork, a swedish photographer mostly known for his urban style. Many of his photographs can be found at the Museum of Modern art, the Centre Pompidou or Maison Europeene de la photographie in Paris. IMAGE 2 “New York, 1965” - Garry Winogrand I chose this Picture because it’s one of my Winogrand’s favorite. I love Black and White photography and street photography, that’s how I discovered Winogrand. He is an american photographer from the Bronx, mostly known for his documentary and street photography. I enjoy this photograph because there are many thi...
